Drive Drill Rig
The TDR -50 universal drilling rig enables each user to drill with
the following methods, with borehole diameters of 3.5 ″to 47″and
drilling depths up to 1 200m.

TDR servies rig can be use for shallow oil and gas, coal bed
methane drainage, geothermy, explotation of mine and large diameter
deep water well application, also can be use for gas emissions of
colliery and down hole of rescue.
TDR-50 Full Hydraulic Multifunction Top Drive Drill Rig
1. Unite Engine
Diesel engine, 6 cylinders, in-line, 2 valves, turbocharged
intercooled; Separate cylinder heads, frame block; Using mechanical
high-pressure injection technology for fuel system.
The crankshaft of diesel engine provides power for hydraulic pump
through flexible coupler (made by KTR in Germany).

2. Hydraulic System
Four hydraulic pumps, three variable displacement piston pumps and
one fixed displacement
hydraulic pumps, all together provide power for the rig. The
hydraulic system is an open circuit with proportional control valve
and completely circuit filter unit. The filter element can be
The heat dissipation of hydraulic is from forced air cooling.
Variable displacement piston pump and proportional control valve of
rotating and feeding system are load-sensitive designed,
which controls the flow of pump as required. All hydraulic branches
are protected by overflow valve.
3. Outriggers and Mast Tilt
Outrigger is made by heavy square steel pipe, both front and rear
cylinders are connected with the drill mounting. There are locking
devices at both loading and travel position. Each outrigger could
position all by itself.
The cylinder of mast has buffer end, which could reduce shock when
it goes up and down, and makes it more stable. The control valve
could change speed as needed.
4. Control Panel
Arc-swing panel located at the left side, and it can retract under
the mast when transporting.
Control panel consists all the apparatus and driller position.The
dash board consists: water-thermometer, tachometer, oil manometer,
pressure gauge of rotating system, pressure
gauge of feeding system, pressure gauge of drilling system,
pressure of drilling, Pressure
of assistant pump etc.
5. Telescoping Mast
Telescoping mast provides much more travel distance and height for
the drill head, and
shortens the length of main machine in transportation. The sliding
cylinder helps the mast
with travel distance up to 3.65 m, and makes it firmly contact the
minimizes the force of drill mounting.

6. Feeding System
Top drive head is driven by hydraulic cylinder and chain. When it
is rising, the upper end of
mast could extended at the ratio of 1:2, the max length of head
unit is about 46 foot (14.02m)

7. Safety System
Hydraulic system of mast is equipped with safety hydraulic valve,
when something goes wrong
with hydraulic system and the rotate unit is drilling down out of
control, the safety hydraulic
valve will lock the head unit, thus stops it from drilling down and
avoids an accident.

Top drive head suits for tricone bit, DTH hammer, PDC Dill bit and
diamond bit which meets
special demand of rotate speed and torque during work. The 4-shift

all circuits are equipped with short-circuited.
